Old Crick Outfitters was born from a family legacy that runs five generations deep in the love of fishing. Our roots trace back to Clark’s Creek in Puyallup, Washington — a small creek in front of our grandparents’ home where nearly every member of our family learned to cast a line. We always called it “The Crick.”
Those days at The Crick shaped who we are. We spent our childhoods fishing for trout, picking fruit and nuts from the trees, cooking big meals, and celebrating every occasion together. That home became the heart of our family — a place where simple moments became lifelong memories.
Even after our grandparents passed and the property changed hands, the spirit of The Crick never left us. Years later, as new generations picked up fishing rods, we found that same spark again — this time in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on the Lower Mountain Fork River.
Old Crick Outfitters is our way of honoring that heritage while passing it forward. We’re dedicated to helping families enjoy fishing responsibly — with legal tackle, gear, and awareness of local rules — so their memories can be about the joy of fishing, not the worry of fines. We also share the recipes and traditions that have been part of our family for decades, from the kitchen to the campfire.
Our story is about family, respect for nature, conservation, and keeping alive the simple, timeless joy of fishing together — the way it’s always been on The Crick.
